WWF Food Team Favourites

After many months spent slaving away in the kitchen, scribbling on notes and querying the accuracy of their scales, the WWF food team is now finally ready to serve up six tasty meals that are healthy for you and the planet.

Heaven help us! Some healthy ingredients but every recipe whether celebrity or WWF toxic to health: salt, salt and more salt (in salt itself, soya sauce, mustard, vegetable stock cubes which most people will use) a leading cause of high blood pressure and hard/saturated fats another leading cause of heart disease and cancer. No wonder people in the UK are so unhealthy if this is categorised as ‘healthy eating’! Shame on you WWF!

Interested you didnt mention sugar. Its a true killer and to be avoided as much as possible. Why put it on bananas and pineapple that are so sweet naturally? Big Sugar are as dangerous to life on earth as Big Oil and the Chemical Giants. Though I’ll gladly go with some of the savory recipes with small tweaks as several sound delicious.

Apart from finding the recipes very difficult to read and navigating around the screen really screwy, I too was sad to see so many unhealthy recipes. We do not need any meat, fish or dairy products in our diet and if these industries were to be disbanded we should greatly contribute towards the reduction of greenhouse gases (these industries contribute as much pollution as the transport sector), decrease cruelty to animals and improve human health.
