Here's a fun way to raise funds for WWF during Earth Hour – hold a 'Be Bright Quiz'.
You can become a quizmaster during Earth Hour and hold a candlelit Be Bright Quiz with your family and friends – or ask your local pub to host the quiz and raise funds for WWF.
The quiz is a great way to show how bright you are with the lights off – and raising money for Earth Hour is a bright way to help us protect people and wildlife threatened by climate change.
If you want to do the quiz at home...
We’ve made it easy for you to have a fun quiz night at home. Simply download and print* your quizmaster’s pack today. The guide contains all the materials you need for your friends to take part, playing in two teams. It includes the quizmaster’s questions and answers, score sheet, team answer sheets, promotional poster and a certificate to present to the winning team.
It’s up to you whether you want to do the full quiz or just choose particular rounds, or play only during the hour itself or for the whole evening.
The quiz has been designed with a mixture of easy, medium and challenging questions. The subjects to choose from include: animals, geography, environment and green living, television, sport and action films. There’s also an optional anagrams round for people who love word puzzles!
We recommend that you ask each competitor taking part to make a donation that you think suits their pockets, perhaps £5, but remember no matter how small their gift, it all helps!

The Be Bright Quiz for pubs
Perhaps you're a publican looking for a quiz night with a difference and want to raise money for a good cause at the same time?
If so, please download your Be Bright Quiz for Pubs and simply print off as many team answer sheets as you think you'll need*.
You can host the quiz during Earth Hour (8.30pm on Saturday 27 March), or you could adapt your usual quiz night in the week leading up to Earth Hour – whatever suits you! The night is bound to be a great way to attract new and existing customers.
