Support our work to help protect our brilliant planet

For the second year, money raised through Earth Hour will be donated to Sky Rainforest Rescue, WWF’s partnership with Sky to help protect one billion trees in the Amazon rainforest.

All donations made to Sky Rainforest Rescue will be matched by Sky £ for £ up to the campaign total of £4 million.

The Amazon rainforest is home to as many as 10% of all species on earth and it provides food, shelter and livelihoods for almost 30 million people.  Rainforests also help regulate the climate, pumping large amounts of water vapour into the atmosphere and acting like a global thermostat by cooling the air.  So not only are rainforests part of what makes the planet fantastic, they help make it healthy too.

Why not ask your friends to make a donation for attending your Earth Hour dinner party? Or why not adopt a jaguar or sponsor an acre?
